Dear Dr. Epstein,

Your performed my hair transplant surgery in February of last year. I have to tell you the results are great. I appreciate everything you and your staff have done. The reason I am sending this e-mail is because at my initial consultation you recommended I use propecia. Well, my prescription has expired. I would not bother you with this however, I have no reason to see my primary doctor now or in the near future. Can you please send me a new one

Hi from Orlando. Hope you are well. This is Duncan Butts. Tall, previous bald guy. I just wanted to say hello. I tried to forward to you about a week ago a July 2004 photo taken on a singles trip I took to Costa Rica. In the photo, however, I have a drink in my hand and I didn't want you guys to think I'm a lush. I recall that one of the previous photos I sent to you was taken in Key West with a Corona in my hand! I will try to send you the photo from home this evening.

My hair is looking great. In fact, a friend of mine in the building said someone remarked to her that I had good looking hair, and my friend said that she didn't think the person knew I had a follicular unit transplantation. Pretty wild, eh

Thank you, thank you & thank you !!!!!! My experience at your office was superb. On Thursday as you know I had 2000+ grafts placed. The staff treated took care of me with their undiveded attention. The procedure was painless & 3 days later, you can hardly notice. I just have tiny pink scabs with "lots more hair". UNBELIEVABLE but true !!! If it looks this good 3 days later, I can't wait to see what it will look like in 6 months. You have already made a difference in my life & for that I can not thank you enough. Dear Dr. Epstein,

I would like to express my gratitude for the procedure you performed on me. The courtesy that I was shown by your staff is greatly appreciated. I'm doing ok. It's day 5 post surgery. I took all the medications as indicated. In addition, I started propecia on day 2. I also used the rubber band for 3 days starting day 2. I feel good except that I'm a little worried about the original hairs within the recipient area, especially that they're cut very short and I can't really see if they're there. As for the grafts, I think they're good. I intend to start exercising again next monday. Please let me know if you have any special recommendations. Thank you again.

Hello Dr E and Roxy!

I hope this email finds you both happy and in good health.

I had a very thorough haircut last Friday, where my barber buzzed the back of my hair down to a number five in the donor area, and so significantly shorter than the length I'd been wearing it. It actually looks great - not a sign of any shockloss at that length, and my barber told me he was being conservative - he could probably have taken me down to a two or a three, but wanted to wait until next time (3-4 weeks) to be absolutely sure of the recovery.

I'll try to post some images when I can, but I can promise you that Dr Epstein's scar work is truly remarkable. My barber says he can barely see any signs of my scarring from previous ops, let alone the latest with Dr E. And running a comb through the number 5 length, you would truly not now know that I had surgery only 16 weeks ago."

Dr E, Roxy, I'll try to send you some images of the donor area to continue my "story" if you're interested, as soon as I can (working life is very pressurised just at the moment). On the subject of the recipient area, I'm starting to see growth on what will be the new hairline. I'm still using Minoxidil twice a day as often as I can, plus Finasteride of course.

Things are looking good at just under four months out, and I'll send some images over asap.

Just to say thank you for the wonderful job you have done. I must commend on you and your crew for the friendliness, warmth and helpfulness as well as humour in all phases of the procedure. It surely had lightened every the atmosphere and make the procedure itself even enjoyable.

PS. The transplants seems to do perfectly. There is no scab and only slight swelling on the sides of the head. Just wish I had more hairs to cover the crown!

It is now our three month anniversary and I am just starting to show some signs of new hair growth. It has been the longest three months ever!

Hi Laurie (this is a prospective patient considering a hairline advancement procedure.)

I am 33 years old and fortunately never lost hair but was always very self-conscious about my rather large forehead.

This procedure has changed my life and the way I feel about myself in the most amazing ways. Having a smaller forehead, and a more rounded forehead, has made me feel like I can have any kind of bad hair day and still feel comfortable with my face.
