I am doing well, and things have gone pretty much as described in the post-operative instructions that were provided. The headaches and most of the crusts have gone, and I'm just left with a little itching and a couple of sutures sticking out at the ends of the incision. I emailed Dr. Epstein on Saturday to ask about the dosage for the Finasteride prescription that I had filled. It said to take as directed, and since I don't handle drugs well, I couldn't remember what happened down there, or what Dr. Epstein had told me. I wasn't expecting an answer until later in the week, and was surprised when he responded within a few hours. My wife is an operating room nurse, and works with doctors every day. She was really impressed ! Apparently the hair transplant business is pretty ruthless. You should have heard some of the calls and offers I got from the local clinics that I had gotten information from after they found out I was scheduled to see Dr. Epstein. The rep from xxxx called and questioned me for several minutes, then the owner called me back and offered to cut several thousand dollars off the original price. He said that their doctor is #1 in the country (sure.......working in Jacksonville ???)
Just to let you know, the reason I ended up choosing Dr. Epstein. I got the information, assurance, and positive attitude I was looking for from you. I had the very uneasy feeling of being in a funeral home when I was talking with the local folks, and had pretty much decided to forget it until you returned my call. Thank you for that ! I appreciate the job that Dr. Epstein and his staff did. Everything went as expected.
