Hi Dr. Epstein,
I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for treating me with the utmost care.
I really appreciate you talking me through everything and making me feel comfortable.
I will come by when you are in NY so you can take a look at my head, since I will be moving to Arizona August 1.
Thank you again!
I consider the process a very good experience
Jon - I appreciate your e-mail and I apologize for a delayed reply. I have been traveling and just had forgotten to take the time to reply to your inquiry. I would say I have made good progress. I would have to say that all the implants did not come out & that I had initial growth sooner than I had anticipated. I use the Toppix and it is helpful in havinga fuller looking & thicker appearing hair coverage.
Also, other than the ones I have told that I had the procedure done, I have had no one ask if I did have something done or to comment on the procedure or results, so I would say it is very natural and looks good. The lady that cuts my hair has experience with her business partner having the procedure done three time & she thinks I have a far better outcome and a much less noticeable procedure. She thinks the growth is great and that the lines where the implants were taken from have healed very well.
I do plan to go down that way some time in the autumn and I will plan to call and stop by the office so you, Dr. Epstein, and the team can see the results after the first year.
Please extend my regards to Dr. Epstein and all of the office staff. I consider the process a very good experience & I think Dr. Epstein is beyond awesome. I actually did some onboarding with & spoke to a guy that is new at our company yesterday and he wanted Dr. Epstein's contact information for a referral to a friend of his bcak in the Boston area.
Again. my thanks to all,
The suture line is healing well and the first absorbable sutures begun to fall yesterday
Hi Dr. Epstein,
I come to you 3 weeks after my hair procedure with good news. The suture line is healing well and the first absorbable sutures begun to fall yesterday. I can fill some tickling at the graft area since 1 week, especially after a hair washing, but I think that is normal. My first hair cut was last Saturday, I hope not too early.
I will begin with applying Rogaine in the next days and I have 1 question. Is this solution only for the crown area or I have to apply it on the whole of my head?
Again, thank you for all, for the good job, your professionalism and congratulation at your team. You can be sure that I will come back in the future for the area that we can't fill up the same day.
Best regards from Switzerland
Dr. E. What happiness you bring others. Live long and prosper
Hi Dr. E!
I hope things are going well for you and your practice. I just wanted to send you a photo of my son, Josh. He is now four months old. Once you put hair on my head, I apparently looked so much younger I was able to marry a younger woman! What a blast! I am a very fortunate person, Dr. E. What happiness you bring others. Live long and prosper.
The procedure went so well and I am so greatful to you
Hi Jon, its so nice to hear from you. The procedure went so well and I am so greatful to you, Dr. Epstein, and your entire staff. I felt so completely comfortable and so welcomed by everyone. As far as my expectations, your office exceeded those by millions. I am so pleased at the results thus far I can only imagine weeks from now. I want to thank you all for everything you have done for me, you can not even see the tattos anymore and that is what I was looking for.
Thank you again!!!!
You guys are awesome!!!!!
Thank you very much for everything
Dear Dr. Epstein:
I just wanted to send a not to thank you, Ed, and everyone else at the clinic for my making my procedure such a positive and seamless experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated it.
At this point I'm looking forward to planning for one more new procedure within the next year or so, so I'll be in touch about that.
Again, thank you very much for everything.
Muchos saludos a todos,
The procedure that changed my life
Hello, Roxy & Dr. Epstein!
Just wanted to give you a little update on my hairline advancement, also known as the procedure that changed my life! it's been 6 months and all I can say is WOW! It's growing in very nicely...in some patches but I concur that's totally normal.
THANKS AGAIN!
Just a quick note to thank you again for everything yesterday

I just wanted to thank you for the extra time and attention
Hi Doc,
I just wanted to thank you for the extra time and attention while I was visiting Florida. You earn my trust more each time I meet you and work with you and your staff. The punch holes are healing nicely so far. How long before I should see the Kenalog working?
Thanks again,
Dr. Epstein and his staff treated me with compassion bordering on love
My name is Melanie, and I am writing to share my experiences having hair follicle grafting with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, in Miami, Florida. I do not know how long this writing will turn out, but I will promise you all several things:
- My hair loss has caused me to cry a lot over the years
- Dr. Epstein and his staff treated me with compassion bordering on love
- Dr. Epstein's work looks so amazingly natural that NO ONE can tell that I have had follicle grafting, even after I choose to share it with people
- And finally, I will cry as I write this (in fact, the tears have already started, making it harder to see the stupid keyboard!)
I am a 43 year old woman, with an endocrine issue, which has lead to fluctuations in my hormones. In my 30's, I began to lose hair in the corners of my hair line, and it also began to recede. I have spoken with other women about this, and it is so devastating. People tell me that I'm pretty, but that is hard to see when I see my scalp. I've gotten really good at styling my hair to minimize the effects of the hair loss, but even that has limitations: When I put my hair in a ponytail, I have to be very careful to place my hair just right so the thinness is not apparent. I live in Florida and I can't go swimming, because when thin hair gets wet, the loss is really obvious.
This is Florida, and there are countless doctors performing surgeries of all kinds. And even among those who specialize in hair replacement, every skill level is represented down here. I wanted a surgeon who not only had a lot of experience, but who specifically had a lot of experience working on women. Dr. Epstein came highly referred by two other top plastic surgeons, and thus, in the spring of 2006, I had a consultation with him-at the same time I met Roxy, Dr. Epstein's office manager; this woman defines the word "love." Dr. Epstein asked me what my goals were with respect to my hair restoration, and through my tears, I said to put my hair in a ponytail again, to be normal. I think that it was then that he hugged me and said that WE'D get there.
In May of 2006, I had my first surgery, in which Dr. Epstein did about 1,950 grafts. Long story short, the days of plugs are OVER! He removed a strip of scalp from the area of the back of my head with really think hair density (by the way, it is nearly impossible to find the "donor area" once it healed!), and then his technicians removed the skin from each follicle using really cool microscopes. His staff are ALL professionals.
Once the follicles are prepared, Dr. Epstein uses tools that he designed himself to make tiny incisions into which the follicles (in groupings according to what looks the most natural) are placed. The whole process is nearly a miracle.
Fast forward a year, and I saw Dr. Epstein again, who felt that a touch up would be in order, and that really helped.
However three years later, I'd had some more loss, and on Friday, July 30, I met with Dr. Epstein and Roxy again, and we decided to do about another 1,150 to really thicken the areas which were the worst. Surgery was Wednesday, August 18, and I just can't wait until the follicles begin doing their thing (when they are first moved from the back of the head to the front of the head, they enter a temporary resting stage). I will be 44 in December; what a beautiful present to be able to see greater hair density for my birthday.and beyond.
I am very choosy as to whom I share this aspect of my life. IT IS EMOTIONALLY PAINFUL. Yet when I do, and as I mentioned earlier, because of Dr. Epstein's beautifully natural-looking work, even when I tell people, they are astonished; every graft simply looks natural.
Finally a few words about Dr. Epstein and his staff, but on a personal level: The other day I thanked Dr. Epstein for becoming a doctor, for this is what I believe he is best suited for in life. He has so very much added to my quality of life; in truth, I cannot thank him enough. Roxy, heart is only surpassed by her AMAZING ability to color coordinate; I love her.
To the staff Cindy, Susie, Peggy, Linda and Candy (and to those whose names I have forgotten, pleased forgive me!!!), you too are all amazing.
To put this all together in a neat little bow, God bless Dr. Epstein and his staff. My thinning hair was not only treated by one of the top hair restoration surgeons (and his staff) in the world, but on top of that I was treated with love, respect and compassion.
With deepest gratitude and affection,
