Like a lot of guys, I wanted to do something about my hair loss. Before I found this forum I had no idea where to go. I was more concerned with getting a quality procedure more than cost. My first consultation was with Bosley in Boca Raton, and my first instinct was that it was similar to buying a used car (down to the shifty salesman with less than stellar transplants himself). A Bosley they made it seem like it was a real treat for me to actually get seen by a doctor whereas usually that would only happen after I had committed to the surgery there.

Doc, I was just thinking about you. The swelling is almost completely gone and other than 2 bruises on the underside on my chin things look good. I sooooo do not want this to fall out but realize it's part of the process. I LOVE IT! and so does my wife.

Thanks for all your insight on your previous message, its obvious that you have a lot of experience and I appreciate the information. You have developed a well established and reputable clinic & I enjoyed meeting you at my appointment. Everything you said made since and you totally relieved my apprehension. At the day of my surgery, you told me that you were able to get about 80-85% of the units out and it is looking MUCH better [you guys did a great job!]. However, I was hoping to get the other 20% out as soon as possible so that I could return to my life without embarrassment of pluggy hair [looks like about 100-130 follicles left].
The fact that you mentioned a refund in your message is very appreciated, however, my main concern is not recieving a refund but rather just removing the rest of the bad stuff. I am able to take off any 3 days in the first week of June and would love to finish the job. The fact that you and your staff removed most of the units allows me to shave the remainder and it looks SO MUCH BETTER ALREADY!!! I had so much anxiety when I left but I was able to cover everything just like you said which was a huge relief. The small holes closed, they were red at first, and now they are pink and looking pretty good and are easily concealed. I'm so excited because it looks way more natural and almost normal again!
You guys are truly talented. I am so impressed that when I ran into a patient with obvious hair transplants at the VA in the Dermatology clinic, I told him about your clinic and what I had done. He seemed interested as he already had 2 from the strip method and wasnt happy. Great job! I think you are doing a great service to your field by emphasizing appropriate training and expertise in surgical procedures at a time when there is a concerted effort by the government and the insurance industry to dumb down the practice of medicine and surgery. I am appalled at the emerging casual attitude toward plastic surgical and cosmetic procedures. Something needs to change. I have seen progressive improvement in hair density and the definition of my hairline. I will send you some new photos. I've been very busy, but have managed to reduce my hours to 6 hours/d Mon-Thu. After all, we have one life to live!

With the launch of your new forum I think that you have a good USP for quality based on reputation and professionalism. My hair is still looking the best and I would like another 9000. Implants over the next couple of years for definite plus some eye work perhaps. Any idea who is good for that ha ha :)

Thanks for the email. Everything has gone as good as I could have hoped, and recovery has been exactly as you guys predicted. I'm just hoping for good graft survival and not too many ingrowing hairs in a few months time! Is that a major reported problem with the other facial hair transplants?
