There are two types of BHT (body hair transplants) performed by Dr. Epstein. The first is using hairs from the chest, beard, and or back to transplant into the scalp to create greater density. The second is to transplant scalp hairs into areas of the body such as the chest, pubic region, and or armpits to create greater density.

Before and after 1,800 grafts to chest. Patient underwent a chest hair transplant procedure of 1,800 grafts to reduce visibility of scarring of chest from prior acne in the area.

Patient had very limited remaining donor hairs from the scalp for transplanting, so 2200 grafts were harvested from the chest then transplanted to achieve a somewhat subtle but definite fuller appearance to his scalp hair. Note the minimal scarring of the chest area from where the grafts were obtained.
