Andrea Miranda is an ANCC Board Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. Ms. Miranda joined The Foundation for Hair Restoration and Plastic Surgery in 2018, bringing vast knowledge in several areas within the field of nursing including pediatrics, critical care, outpatient care and ambulatory surgery. Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Miami, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Andrea is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
Ms. Miranda has quickly earned a name for herself among our hair loss patients, specializing in medical therapies to combat hair loss. Under the guidance and direction of Dr. Jeffrey Epstein and Dr. Anthony Bared, she has become an expert in the use of growth factors for hair loss as well as the benefits and uses of Laser Light Therapy. Andrea makes it her personal mission to use all resources available to her to help restore confidence and peace to our patients combating hair loss. Working closely with Dr. Epstein on his private-labeled laser cap program, Foundation Light Therapy, is one of Andrea’s passions. Foundation Light Therapy offers specially designed, medical grade laser caps with customized regimens and close follow up by Dr. Epstein and Andrea. More recently, Andrea has now coupled her knowledge and daily work with growth factors with her love of proper facial skin care. Andrea offers growth factors and micro needling as a treatment for a variety of facial blemishes such as: melasma, enlarged pores, acne scars, post-surgical scars and anti-aging. Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys giving back to the community, attending annual medical missions in South America, where she works in the operating room and family clinic.
